We went to see Norman Prince Opticians to pick up new glasses for our child, that happened to be couple of days after they had an eye injury on the playground. Helen was amazing; she took her time and and did all the necessary checks, even though we did not have a dedicated appointment, [and] we [received] good guidance, both short and long term.
We did a follow up this morning with Daren who was the most attentive and was aware of the incident. Thank you for your attention and care: an excellent team and the visit exceeded all our expectations.

I cannot recommend Norman Price Opticians in Hermitage Parade, Ascot highly enough. Five stars, obviously.
I had the most thorough eye examination with Kanveer Jowhal, who was polite, funny, engaging and immediately inspired confidence. You appreciate it when someone clearly knows their job inside out and you can actually relax!
Every test was explained properly, in plain English, without making me feel like I needed an optometry degree or a stiff drink to understand what was going on.
Afterwards I was handed over to Hayley Walker, who has worked there for 20 years, for peripheral vision testing and measurements for my new glasses. Again, everything was calm, professional and properly explained.
I have honestly never felt so well looked after by an optician. I felt like an actual person, not just the next name on a list. All the staff there seem to like each other as much as they like working there - such a rarity in this day and age.

We registered with Norman Prince having recently moved to the area, and I’m so glad we found such a welcoming, helpful and professional practice!

I’ve met most of the staff during visits for myself and my daughter, and have received excellent care from everyone. Kanveer the optician is exceptional! She was thorough and playful with my 6 year old, and made the eye  test experience with a child an absolute breeze! I had a last minute appointment this week for an issue with my eye, and received a diagnosis and reassuring treatment options.

One of the best opticians around , Ascot branch in particular have helped me so much.
Always double checking everything , advising me what I need and today I’m sitting here having put my own contacts in. To have the world look so pretty again and not fuzzy - well I just have no words.

Amrit has helped me choose frames best to suit my face, taught me how to put in and remove my contacts and has the best aftercare I’ve ever received. If you're looking for a personal touch while taking care of your eyesight needs (something u don’t get from all the big chains) then come here - personally for me the Ascot branch is the best.

Great staff. Nowhere better for the knowledge the staff have, and believe me - I have tried many different opticians!

From 20 years ago when my eldest daughter got her first pair of glasses to today when my youngest son got his latest pair, my children have been at Norman Prince Opticians.

Today reminded me of why we have been so loyal to the establishment. Not just because of the high quality glasses and examinations but the friendly environment fostered there. Today, I walked in with my son's broken glasses who has important final year exams on Monday and was greeted with nothing but smiles by Hayley and Amrit.

They were so understanding about the situation and bounced ideas off each other until the solution was found. They were so helpful and have always been so great at what they do. Together, they replaced the broken arm of the glasses and was able to fast track a pair of glasses to arrive in a couple days. I was very grateful of Amrit's determination to find a solution for my son and appreciated Hayley's postive outlook no matter the state my son brought his glasses in (not just at the age of 20 but for the last decade).

This is not the first and I am sure not the last time they have been so amazing to my family accommodating to our busy lives for decades. Thanks so much to Helen and the whole team and especially to Hayley and Amrit for today.
